The only changes I tend to make are within the likes of Word/Excel where the default file save/open locations are modified to look in tranq. nguyen “my documents” which now resides on the F: disk. Once all desired programs are installed, I use Norton Ghost to take a ghost image (snapshot) of my C: drive and store the resultant tranq. nguyen ghost image on my G: tranq. nguyen drive. If I set-up a system for someone else, then I hide the G: drive using by modifying the system.adm file with the system policy. That probably sounds more dauting that it actually is, but it’s a good way of not having a pc user delete a file that you may later rely upon – the drive can still be accessed via windows explorer, but it is not readily seen without explicit invocation.
