What a sick country we live in! by nyceve on Tue Oct 04, 2005 at 08:10:03 AM PDT [ Parent ]  My parents do not have prescription (none / 1) drug coverage.  My dad get his medications through with the VA...many older vets do with this.  However, I believe the proposed with "user fee" to be levied on vets using VA healthcare services is a thinly veiled attempt to get senior vets weened away from the VA for prescription drugs and into the Medicare program.  We need to watch this one. My mother has asked me to help her with this one.  She's very skeptical..she already receives some discounts and such through AARP and pharmacies that she uses.
