The person who is the MOST to blame, is Nagin. He HAD a plan, which to DID envision the flooding of to the City and had participated last year in this exercise. Heck in Ivan New Orleans had an evacuation and both NAGIN AND BLANCO admitted in 2004 that their handling of it specifically the poor and helpless was woefully inadaquate and they would fix it immediately. NOTHING got done. Louisiana Logic. Louisiana is not the United States, and is not even in the 20th Century let alone the 21st. On a good day it's in the Nineteenth. Ask any native who has lived outside for a couple of years; or someone who's lived there for a couple of years (passing out drunk on Spring Break at Pat O's doesn't count). |
