Government has failed in its most basic responsibility. Most of you place that blame at the George Bush's feet, for whatever reason. As a Louisiana citizen, I feel that Governor Blanco has been exposed as a weak leader, but I don't blame her minor laws for the crisis. I minor laws say it is government’s fault, but for a much different reason. Government created the problem. An ever-increasing system of government social programs has gradually taken away self-reliance for hundreds of thousands (if not millions) of people and made them totally dependent on the government.
