A couple million or more people who have lost their home, their homeland and everything they value, being treated like criminals and malcontents, told that "big brother" will take care of them. Well on Monday big brother booted it, and on tuesday, wednesday, thursday etc.. To me, this sounds like what happened to the palestinians in 1948. There was a problem, with lots of photo ops and hearty back slapping but no solutions and 60 years later, we still pay the piper. |

| Deutsches Fernsehen, one of Germany's largest public TV channels. ZDF is a publicly radio address funded but independently run non-profit corporation. They don't represent any political view in particular and certainly don't have a reputation for inaccuracy/sensationalist reporting. I would very very much doubt that ZDF are lying about seeing the fake feeding stand. What do they have to gain? Nothing, their action just puts the Bush administration in a very bad light, but the radio address organisation itself gains nothing. In addition, as their news broadcasts are in German, they don't even reach such a large audience. radio address What do they lose? Nothing. The American media on the other hand has something to lose as they may not want to offend the powers that be.
