california drunk driving defense attorney, legal career, hummous, strange news, story, conspiracy duck, dick cheney, blowjob, social, drunk sex, media, drunklesbian, jokes, jewish blogs, mother son porn, drunk driving, timothy mcsweeney's, pantiehose, | I see this as the ultimate jennifernew state's rights issue. Hey, federal government, we're on our own? Here's some news--so are you! Posted by: LAs on September 4, 2005 at 3:20 AM | PERMALINK Steve White Writes: "What you're basically saying, Steve White, is that if Kansas were threatened by jennifernew nuclear attack and the Feds found out about it first, they'd be within their rights to do NOTHING about it unless Kansas asked." Absolutely not, and it's a silly analogy: a nuclear attack is not a natural disaster, it's a national defense jennifernew nightmare. For any natural disaster, there's shared responsibility between the states and the feds. Now, the Feds canNOT 'do nothing' in the face of a Cat 5 hurricane. I've already said above (wonder why y'all aren't getting that message) that FEMA failed. But as noted by others here, the responsibility and the blame doesn't rest solely with FEMA. |

What would the rich do without them? Posted by: bad Jim on September 4, 2005 at 3:11 AM | PERMALINK Um, here is ZDF's website. My German's rusty, and I jewish blogs haven't located the Bush video yet. Posted by: bad Jim on September 4, 2005 at 3:19 AM | PERMALINK "...In that case, why do the states allow jewish blogs the National Guard to be used as expeditionary troops? If the feds don't have to take care of New Orleans, why's the Louisiana Guard in Iraq? Bring them home! California had better follow suit. If there's an earthquake we know better jewish blogs than to rely on such incompetents as Bush and Chertoff and Brown. Bring the Guard home now! If each state is on its own, to hell with our president's war of choice." Bad Jim, I think you are on to something here. Is it the Governor of Montana who needed his guardsmen for fighting forest fires? And they are completely under his jurisdiction? So why can't he just order them home? Why can the President interfere with the states and order their own troops to Iraq, but somehow it is unimaginable that he would take it upon himself to order the same troops into Lousiana? |
