Yes my hospital reported it and I am lucky enough to case law live in Michigan, one of the few states to actually give a Stillbirth certificate. As a grieving mother, who is still grieving almost 1 year later. To think that some idiot thinks case law that during the first 12 hours of grief a women would even be capable of contacting someone other than a family member to report the loss of a child is uncomprehensable. I appologize for my spelling errors, but I am so upset right now that my fingers are typing faster than I can think. I belong to an online community of women on SHARE, all of us have experienced Infant or Pregnancy Loss. A loss is a loss, and it is not gaged by weeks, or months to these women. Some of them have lost many pregnancies and many babies. We are a community who is FORCED to grieve in silence. It is acceptable for people to grieve for Elvis and JFK Jr. |
