I don't mean "pretend it's nothing important"; I mean point out how Stupidly Absurd this bill is _along_with_ pointing out how Wrong it is. Don't let the arguments against it become "well, reasonable people might disagree" or "it makes sense from a pro-life POV"; make it as difficult as possible for anyone to consider this bill halfway sane even if they're being generous. Make fun of it, even while you're taking your opposition of it seriously. We want this to come back pantyhose as a "remember the nut who pantyhose proposed...?", pantyhose not as a "well maybe if we tweak it a little we can get a little more support...". So it needs to garner a "What were they *thinking*?" reaction. There is difference of opinion, there is being forced to accomodate attitudes within the constituency of your fellow citizens that you yourself don't like - and then there is recognising evil when you see it.
