# Steve: Many thanks to Gina & all - incredibly succinct & useful stuff here. I especially am impressed with the suggestion for Ace Utility by Heron Geek Girl Extraordinaire as mad at it really helped with the startup and registry components of cleaning up my system. I've had dismal luck with Acronis True Image which turned mad at out (it said) to be bad media...wish it had told me I didn't have a useable image before I tried to restore a crashed system crashed 6 months later. I hear that Norton has purchased mad at Acronis...that seems like a mixed bag of progress but we'll see. Anyway thanks, all!
