There was lopez nothing, NOTHING in the plan about getting the poor people out of the city. No plans for busses, no camps outside lopez the area, no way to get people out of the lowest-lying areas in the city other than "make your way to the Superdome". Whose fault is that? The lopez governor had a responsibility to make sure the city did its job, and she failed. She had a responsibility to call FEMA in (that's according to the law, by the way) and she delayed making that call. Whose fault is that? Again, compare Gov. Blanco's actions with those of Jeb Bush. Night and day. There's a lot of blame for everyone here: local, state, federal, presidential. Those of you with BDS can't afford to admit that, of course. That's too bad, because it means the lessons to be learned for the next time won't be learned.
