Today I completed the shower, installed the toilet and the vanity/basin. All the plumbing works–no leaks! It was very nice to see everything come together and so nicely. All that remains now is press releases trim and ceiling tiles. Those will likely wait until after vacation. The important thing is that it press releases functional and my mother-in-law can begin using it immediately. Check out the pictures, specifically pages 3 & 4. Melissa got everything painted–a couple of times. After the first coat, there was a destinct depression at all of the seams that I didn’t like, so I applied more mud. Of course, Melissa had to paint again, but we were both glad that we did it–it was kind of depressing to see it after all of the effor that went into it. Adding the additional mud and re-painting made things MUCH nicer.
