But, no... I was not going to do it and press releases they weren’t going to make me. I just knew that press releases my mother would be the one to come and gripe at me about it though. My mom still thinks that I am 12 or 13 so I get the 3rd degree about anything and everything that I decide to do with my life. She said I was being selfish and childish and whatnot, and like a good press releases daughter I listened to every word, well... at least I made it look like I was listening. Finally I just said "Mom, I am not going, so drop it already". Of course she did, but not without repeating everything she had already said to me to try and make me feel bad about not going. I actually enjoyed my evening. I didn't have to make supper because my husband and older son were eating at the BBQ, and I laid in my bed surrounded by pillows watching The Cave and eating Fortune Cookies that I had left from Valentine's Day.
