[ The Ducks of Death ] This happened yesterday and I was debating not making an entry about it (I wondered if this whole duck thing was getting old) but a poster convinced me to write this. I want to point out, by the crossdressing way, that this duck saga is all true. I obviously add my own dramatic flair when I write, but what you read in these entries is by and large what really happened. OK, so ... remember Jurassic Park? And that scene with the hunter guy where he's going out to kill the velociraptor? And he sees the thing a little ways over so he starts setting up his shot and then he suddenly hears this noise and a different velociraptor pops out of the bushes and the guy goes, "Clever girl!" |

| They'll get frustrated and build elsewhere. So I pulled the mass of twigs and moss out of the plant, threw it in the bushes and returned the plant to its hook. Two buddha hours later, those little bastards were back at it. I chased them away, tore out the nest again, went about buddha my business. Another hour passed and there they were again. I walked out on the porch and they just hopped onto the upper ledge and looked at buddha me. I looked in the fern and took out the few twigs they'd managed to put in there. Then I looked up at them, shook my finger and said, "Don't fucking do that again." Guess what I found in my fern this morning. There is no reason these birds should be this persistent. There can be only one explanation and I think we all know what it is. The birds have conspired with the ducks to kill me and are planning to plant eggs filled with cyanide gas on my porch. |
