I was very, very sad with both miscarriages. While the pregnancies laws were unexpected, I believed in carrying them to term. I'm pro-choice but I also believe in my INDIVIDUAL responsibility. I think that legal abortion should be available to women but it is a seperate issue from unintentional pregnancy loss. In miscarriage, there is not a sense of laws relief but only, for me, a lingering grief. The first miscarriage was my first pregnancy. I've been laws lucky to have a family after that. However, that never takes away the pain of losing a possibility in life. Women do not need the sorrow and fear of possible legal action if they suffer a fetal loss.
