Government is the organized community response to a catastrophe. As conservatives and liberals, we can have intelligent conversations about the scope and scale of government, but the failure of federal response to Katrina has made it clear that Bushco has been play-acting at being a jewish blogs government, while siphoning US resources into the hands of cronies. The other German public channel, ARD, had a reporter jewish blogs on the outskirts of Biloxi who said she was shocked by the devastation, but even more by the phoney relief workers who arrived in the area with a fleet of equipment right before the president came through and left immediately after he was gone. She also pointed out that there was no need to press relief efforts in that area, since there were no people left in the area, all having gone further downtown.
