The historical politics could be described as muslim 'Dem' in American terms. Even the conservatives are the Liberal party. We have, or perhaps had a pretty reasonable medical care system here. I'm currently ill and unable to work so almost anything a doctor muslim prescribes for me costs me about $3US, a doctors visit is sufficiently subsidised that places can be found where treatment costs nothing. For me the cost is about $US10. Even then, there is a cap for my family beyond which any treatment is fully funded. Few, if any medical treatments are unavailable to me although there are waiting lists for some proceedures. |
