My dad get his medications through the VA...many mom and son older vets do this. However, I believe the proposed "user fee" to be levied on vets mom and son using VA healthcare services is a thinly veiled attempt to get senior vets weened away from mom and son the VA for prescription drugs and into the Medicare program. We need to watch this one. My mother has asked me to help her with this one. She's very skeptical..she already receives some discounts and such through AARP and pharmacies that she uses. I'm not sure she would save a lot with one of these programs. I don't like the idea of being locked into one...she |
