I can certainly sympathize with the woman who wrote the quote before mine. no one wants their loved one to be abused. I have been free us code my hubsands 24/7 caregiver for nine years now. It has been a roller coaster ride from the start. WE have been through the violents, the wandering, the not knowing you no more free us code stages of this theif I call alzheimers. I do get angry but never at my hubsand. How can anyone get mad at free us code someone who cant help what they are saying or doing. Yes it has been hard and still hurts just as much as the day the Dr diagnoised him. I have learned love makes the difference. I have not put him in a nursing home. I want to make sure he will never be abused by anyone. Having him at home I know what is going on with him. NO I do not have outside help. I do it all on my own. I do have a nurse come by and check him over often. No I am not rich but I do get by. But Im rich from having such a hubsand for he did love me dearly at one time before alzheimers stole him form me.
