How many births are there because the minor didn't say a word until it was too late for the parent to force an abortion? That's why there isn't any laws except for those that would result in an abortion. The truth is there is a great number of families that aren't 50's TV. If a middle aged women parent is truly supportive they will be when they find middle aged women out later too. The idea that a minor isn't mature enough to make a decision about an abortion but is mature enough to be forced to carry a pregnancy to term is ridiculous. Yeah, yeah... give the baby up for adoption but that doesn't happen nearly as much as they like you to think. |
