Prevention is always better than cure, it is better to abstain oneself. But of course, morality these days has lost its value with youngsters. Many of my friends scoff at the very term abstinence. So it is important that they be made aware of the threat of HIV/AIDS and that they should take sufficient precautions to prevent themselves before they indulge in such activities.
