Someone's daughter goes away on a graduation trip and does not return. Millions of adults in the United States have children, many of who are still yet to go through graduation and the graduation trip. This means that this is a story that millions of people can relate to. You cannot really blame the news for covering a story that would get literary so much attention. After all, attention is ratings, and literary ratings are what pay the bills. How many people literary really care about a robotic bullet being fired at a comet?
