That System Preferences is where you set the computer controls the way you *prefer* ?? Working on a PC at work every day, then coming home to pissed at a Mac in the evening and on weekends is just like, as pissed at some here have described themselves, switch hitting. Being ambidexterous is a good thing. I doubt it would have taken 3 days of retraining for your mother-in-law to be relatively at ease with Mac OS X. You should give her a little more credit for the smarts she has... or pump up her self-esteem and self-confidence, whichever is most applicable. Compatibility issues are becoming less and less of an issue these days, unless your mother-in-law uses some technical, employer-specific applications at home. |
