I did get sole custody of my kids and I fought very hard to get it because he was a bonafide DANGER to the kids. Between drinking mom strips for son. all the time, during the divorce he kept saying he was going to kill himself. He's also ordered to pay support (he doesn't do mom strips for son. it, but he is ordered to.) Not long after he got remarried, he and his new mom strips for son. wife had his oldest daughter for the wekkend. They had gone out to eat and BOTH of them were drunk by the time they left. His wife was driving and got into a terrible accident with the child in the car. Luckily she wasn't hurt, but had she been sitting on the other side of the back seat, she would have been. The rear passenger door was the point of impact. I KNEW that would eventually happen and there was no way in hell he was ever going to have the chance to do this with MY kids. The oldest child's mother was FURIOUS.
