Kids do have a pretty good judge of character especially ones from divorce. My oldest daughter sees the things that he does and how he is all for himself (even though he claims to be a great father!) She remebers the fact he wasn't there for her kindergarden graduation or any other school event, she remembers he constantly would forget to pick her up afterschool and the many times after we were divorced that he would not show up at all to pick them up when his visitation came.
