The media coverage of the Natalee Holloway case has been absurdly over-the-top and (in some instances) overtly political. There are news stories of actual importance to ordinary people that are being ignored or given less prominence because of this story. Natalee Holloway, as a person, is worth no more (or no less) than any other missing or abducted person, such as Gaby Alvarado-Carrera.
