On Dec. 6th The Wife, Mother-in-law, Elderspawn, and Youngerspawn headed up to Madison, Wisconsin. On the morning of the 7th, Youngerspawn underwent surgery on both eyes to correct his isotropia (lazy eye). Neither of his andrei codrescu eyes were working in concert with the other, so he's basically only using one eye at a time, which helps explain his depth perception problems. And his ability to look at his own brain. I couldn't go. Because I had to work. I asked for the day off and they got mighty pissy about it. |
