Once you/he see " internet anger Mom" again....Give her an ultimatum. Either respect your husband or you wont' come to see her. It may be painful........but speaking from experience....... over the years, we saw my in laws less and less and i'm glad. My husband is a better person today, and I love and care for him more than any member of his family, and his situation was not as bad as your husbands........ |

You didn't marry the family. I feel sorry for your husband, I hope he has sought counseling. Maybe he/you need to spend some time away from your mother and think thinks through. First of all, she needs to apologize to your husband. But, don't think that will make everything better. She has to earn the right to be trusted again, if ever again. Be on your guard where she's concerned.......She wasn't a good parent with him, I would not trust her alone w/ grandchildren.
