The teens and sex education point of course being that we must get tough on child molesters. Child molestation should be teens and sex education a 1 strike and your gone for 20 years mandatory punishment. Are you against putting child molesters away for a minimum of 20 teens and sex education or more years? I am in favor of thoughtful response and not knee-jerk response. Placing a mandatory 20 years for a first offense wouldn't prevent a crime (as you note) but it might create an incentive for a molester to eliminate the only witness to his/her crime.
