Post-intervention Findings (14) Findings from this study suggest that improved services and counselling in public STI clinics in Shanghai can change attitudes about public-sector STI services, can reduce risk-taking age behaviour, and can increase condom use among clients. · A lower percentage of clients reported at follow-up than at first visit that they feared attending a age public STI clinic for the reasons mentioned above (32% versus 80%). · Only 24% of clients reported having casual sex age after receiving the new package of STI services, compared to 57% in the month prior to first interview (15). · Over half (58%) of all clients reportedly ever used a condom after receiving the new package of STI services, compared to 42% in the month prior to first interview. · The majority (70%) of clients reported having sex at least once between first and second interview, of whom 80% used condoms regularly. · Treatment of stable partners increased from 40% pre-intervention to 59% post-intervention.
