Sure, the idea is usually a very good or original one, but pretty soon, there's a million ones just like it, and those people who haven't been reading comics oxytocin very oxytocin long will get them confused. After the popularity of 8-Bit Theater took off, it spawned so oxytocin many look-alikes, I couldn't tell which was the original one, since I never read 8-Bit Theater to begin with. I usually got it confused with Old Skooled, or one of the many others like it out there. I feel the same way with japanese 'anime' style comics. I like the style as much as anyone else, but I think rather than base your entire style of drawing off of it, you'd do well to work and create your own style of drawing, and not copy what's 'popular' in the world of comics. It's important to practice many styles of art, and I occasionally draw 'anime style', but I don't incorporate it totally into my comic.
