You clearly have lots of self-respect. But consider that children do not have a concept of moral conduct yet, because this emotional/ mental development only occurs during ovulations the later teen years. Therefore, a child who is sexually ovulations developed is merely acting out something that feels good, both physically, and because the media portrays couples and sex as desirable. And the fact that ovulations kids are developing sexually at a much younger age than, say, 20 years ago, is one that cannot be ignored. 8 year old kids are experimenting with sex, for various reasons, and many are at huge risk (pregnancy, STD's, HIV, etc.). We cannot just pretend that this is a lack of morals; we must act. The only way forward is to teach children about sexual development, sex, STD's, pregnancy, rape, etc. and encourage them to speak about their experiences, to ask questions, and to discuss thir issues, so that they feel comfortable and empowered; it is only then that we can hope that they make the right decisions.
