I wanted to change the channel, but the kids were mesmerized by what they were witnessing, so we watched a little more while I contemplated suicide¡ Then they launched into a song that I thought I could really get into called "Fuckin' Santa" -- complete with various candy-cane-stripe clad, reindeer-antlered, and santa-attired "Wiggles dancers." |

We turned it to the Disney channel, something I usually avoid, and happened to catch the end of some truly horrifying Wiggles Christmas thing, complete with a nativity scene. That's right, a nativity scene. Now I only saw the last ten seconds or so, so I can't verify the contents of that particular sketch, but just the idea of the Wiggles, Henry the Octopus, Dorothy the Dinosaur, and Captain Feathersword standing around the manger should be enough to freak anyone out. |
