All kinds of people disappear from every where daily. The only ones who receive extensive news coverage seem to be those who have a lot of money. And the more news coverage the story receives, the more effort the government will expend to find the person. With the news coverage, from the beginning, as much as it was, if they spent the amount of effort they do in normal cases in the US of those who disappear, it would look that much worse for them.A
