I agree though, it doesn't make sense why the Natalee case has had so much coverage while the case of Reyna Alvarado-Carerra hasn't. As you say, this quite possibly could be some sort of race issue regarding the area Natalee was visiting. Reading some of the responses you received, it's clear to see that the people who wrote them didn't really understand the point you were making and just reacted to the title, eg the person who wrote that she or he hoped someone you loved got chopped up or something. If that person had read your story properly they would have understood what you are getting at.
