This was outpatient surgery, they didn't have to cut into the eyeball itself. What they do (from what I understand of it) is detatch the muscles that move the eyeball maturewoman peeing around and re-attatch it elsewhere, so that the eye is straight. They couldn't do as much as they wanted too, because Youngerspawn's eyes are underdeveloped, which is part of his maturewoman peeing aniridia. He was crabby as maturewoman peeing hell for a couple days, and his eyes are still bloodshot, but he recovered well. By day three he seemed perfectly normal except for the bloodshot eyes. So far I'd say the surgery was a damn fine success. his eyes seem to be working straight and in concert for the most part. I still catch them a bit off center or crossed, but the docs said it would take six to eight weeks for the eye muscles to heal and tighten completely up.
