First of all, she needs to apologize to your husband. But, don't think that will make everything better. She has to earn the right to be trusted again, if ever again. Be on your guard where she's concerned.......She wasn't a good parent with him, I would not trust her alone w/ grandchildren. From personal experience (not nearly as bad as what he's been through) I know that no matter what they do, or allow to happen to you- there is always a string attached that goes right down to the center of who you are, because they-in their own screwed up way- are a part of who you are today. |
